After two long years away from the beloved Henley Royal Regatta, the wait is over and it’s Finals Day. 26 trophies up for grabs.
With three new women’s trophies to row for there was a new energy around women’s eights with the Island Challenge Cup (Women’s Student Eight), Wargrave Challenge Cup (Women’s Club Eight) and the Junior Women’s Eight.
And with strength in depth from both Leander and Oxford Brookes – the challenge to take back the highest number of trophies for one club was on.
It was a great day of racing with drama, row-throughs and close finishes. And the good news is that it’s all back on again in just over ten months’ time with Henley Royal Regatta 2022.
