We are currently seeking temporary retail staff for various full-time roles during the 2026 Henley Royal Regatta. These positions involve engaging directly with customers, handling sales, and managing stock in a dynamic, event-driven environment.

Key responsibilities include providing excellent customer service, processing transactions, and maintaining a well-organised sales area. Prior experience in retail, customer service, and basic inventory management is preferred, but not essential for the right candidates.

At a minimum, applicants must be available to work:

  • 11:00-12:30 Wednesday, 24 June OR Saturday, 27 June for uniform collection & training
  • At least one day between Thursday, 25 June and Monday, 29 June
  • Every day from Tuesday, 30 June to Saturday, 4 July

Longer-term positions are available, running from Monday, 15 June to Friday, 17 July.

Badge Office Staff

Fixed-Term Contracts

We are currently seeking temporary full-time Badge Office staff for the 2026 Henley Royal Regatta, both in Regatta Headquarters and at the event itself.

Positions available include:

MEMBERSHIP SERVICES MANAGER

Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 4.30pm.

Starting at Regatta Headquarters in February or March and moving to site in June. Key responsibilities include supervision of the HQ Badge Office operation – encompassing processing, fulfilment and dispatch of daily orders. Team leadership, willingness to take ownership, attention to detail, problem solving and good customer service skills are important attributes in this role.

SALES & CUSTOMER SERVICE

Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 4.30pm.

Starting at Regatta Headquarters in April and moving to site in June. Key responsibilities: handling telephone/email enquiries and sales, dealing with Member requests and managing guest catering requirements. Key attributes: excellent customer service, problem-solving ability and selling skills.

ORDER PROCESSING & FULFILMENT

Monday to Friday 9.00am to 4.00pm.

Starting at Regatta Headquarters in April and moving to site in June. Key tasks: picking, packing, dispatch and filing of orders. Key attributes: excellent attention to detail, good organisational skills and being task orientated.

EVENT STAFF

Positions involve engaging directly with Members and non-Members, handling badge/ticket collections and sales at the Stewards’ and Regatta Enclosure Collections desks. Key responsibilities: finding and filing items held for collection, processing sales and maintaining a well-ordered work area. Ability to provide exceptional customer service, a good aptitude for filing and team working are essential. Supervisory roles are available.

Training will be given for all roles. There is some flexibility regarding start dates and working hours ahead of the event, but all applicants must be available to work everyday from Monday, 29 June to Sunday, 5 July, 2026.

All applicants must be 18 years or older on their first day of work and be eligible to work in the UK.

Event Staff

Seasonal & Fixed-Term Contracts

These roles cover a variety of positions, from working on the river to servicing the Enclosures and boating area.
