Henley Royal Regatta is steeped in tradition, and the outfit you choose to wear may vary depending on the dress code for the area you are attending.

LADIES' DRESS CODE

LADIES' DRESS CODE

Ladies are required to wear dresses or skirts with a hemline below the knee, and will not be admitted wearing divided skirts, culottes or trousers of any kind. Whilst not a requirement, it is customary for ladies to wear hats.

GENTLEMEN'S DRESS CODE

GENTLEMEN'S DRESS CODE

Gentlemen are required to wear lounge suits, or jackets or blazers with flannels, together with a tie or cravat. No one will be admitted to the Stewards' Enclosure wearing shorts or jeans.

Children aged ten and over are welcome in the Stewards' Enclosure and are required to adhere to the appropriate dress code.

In the Regatta Enclosure

To suit the relaxed environment there is no formal dress code, although many who attend do enter into the spirit of the event by wearing club blazers and other rowing apparel.

We ask guests to dress to suit the occasion!

Please refrain from wearing denim, shorts, sports attire or trainers and if you need further clarification, contact Sodexo.

Using your mobile phone

in the stewards' enclosure

The use of mobile phones for making and receiving calls is not permitted in the Stewards' Enclosure, they may be used for messages, emails and taking photos.

Mobiles may be used when attending in the Regatta Enclosure and the Official Hospitality venues.
