Permanent Positions

Financial Controller - part-time, immediate start

Reporting to the Finance Director, this is a part-time role, working 21 hours a week on-site(parking space provided), with some additional hours required during the annual Regatta and at year end(September).

As an experienced Bookkeeper, this person will be responsible for recording all items of Expenditure and maintaining accurate VAT records, as well as assisting in the budgeting and forecasting process.  The successful candidate will have experience of Xero Accounting software and be proficient in Excel.  The role requires the ability to prioritise a varied workload and the confidence to work autonomously as well as part of a team.

Box Office

Fixed Term Contracts

We are recruiting for various fixed term, full-time contracts to start Spring 2022, working within the Box Office to provide a quality, frontline service to customers, selling tickets using both manual and computerised systems, face-to-face from our sales counter, telephone and internet bookings, as well as courier delivery administration.

Good customer service, retail, administration and basic accountancy skills preferred but not essential for the right candidates. Applicants must be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of both Microsoft Word and Excel.

We are starting to recruit for various seasonal positions at this year’s Regatta, 28 June to 3 July 2022. These roles involve working on the river, servicing the Enclosures and boating area.

Operations Internship

A summer placement is available to work in the Event Organiser’s Office for approximately six weeks prior to, and during, this year’s Regatta, 28 June to 3 July 2022.

The successful candidate will be actively involved in the final stages of organising the event thus gaining valuable practical work experience.  The role is likely to include day to day management of the site construction, contractors and utilities, and any Covid-19 mitigations should they be required.

Candidates must have excellent organisational and communication skills and the ability to interface at all levels within the organisation as well as with contractors, the general public and other third parties. Strong literacy and numeracy skills
are essential and candidates should be computer literate.

Previous event experience is preferred but not essential, although this is a placement position it is a paid role.
