Live coverage of Henley Royal Regatta to be broadcast on BT Sport

This year, the Regatta, along with its production partner Sunset+Vine, will once again produce video coverage of the six exciting days of top quality racing which start tomorrow, 27 June, to the highest standards.  As in prior years, every race will be streamed live, and made available on demand, on HRR.co.uk and YouTube, accessible around the world.

We are delighted that this year, there will also be live coverage on BT Sport, one of the leading sports broadcasters in Europe.  Coverage of the Regatta will start at 1.30pm on Friday 30 June and Saturday 1 July, and all the finals will be broadcast live on Sunday 2 July.  There will also be daily highlights broadcast in the UK and Ireland on BT Sport.  BT Sport’s coverage will be hosted by presenter Laura Winter and reporter Aly Vance.  Laura has been a face of Henley’s coverage for many years and is now a regular presenter on the Formula One circuit.  Aly presented the Henley coverage last year, and regularly features on the BBC and BT Sport.

The drone will not be operational this year.  Due to unforeseen circumstances, the independent drone operator contracted by Sunset+Vine to provide aerial filming, has had to withdraw its services at short notice for the 2023 Regatta.

As a result, the Regatta has deployed a new camera position at Fawley to replace the drone, and we look forward to the return of aerial filming in future years.
