The Regatta Enclosure

The Regatta Enclosure is situated on the Berkshire bank, just downstream from the Stewards' Enclosure. It is open to competitors, supporters and the general public. The Regatta Enclosure offers seating alongside the river and in an open grandstand. There is also an excellent covered restaurant, an outside dining area and a bar.

Regatta Enclosure badges are valid for the whole day and must be worn at all times within the Enclosure. Badges are also valid for entry into the Boat Tent area, (see Site Map). Please note large bags are not permitted within the Regatta Enclosure.

Children of all ages are welcome and admission is free to under 14s when accompanied by an adult who has purchased a Regatta Enclosure ticket.

Tickets go on sale 3rd April 2017 and may be purchased as follows:

Regatta Headquarters is closed on Thursday 22nd June 2017. From Friday 23rd June, Regatta Headquarters is open on the Regatta site 10.00 am to 4.00 pm daily, except on Sunday 25th June when it is closed.

During Regatta

From the Ticket Sales Office on the Regatta site situated at the entrance to the Regatta Enclosure. The Office opens half an hour prior to the start of racing. Subject to availability.

Delivery

Is by insured courier (see Terms and Conditions).

Payment may be made by cash, Sterling cheque, Visa debit and Visa/MasterCard credit cards.

Special Offers

Group Discount

On the Wednesday, Thursday and Friday a Group Discount of 10% is available to parties purchasing more than 10 Badges.

School Parties

10% discount on orders for 10 or more tickets on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. One free staff ticket for every 10 children or ticket holders brought into the Enclosure.

Parking may be purchased for school minibuses and coaches on Fawley Meadows (see Site Map).

Please note discount offers above are not available for online purchases.

Families

For family parties there is no admission charge for children under 14 years of age, when accompanied by an adult who has purchased a Badge.

What to wear

The atmosphere is less formal than the Stewards' Enclosure as there is no dress code, although many who attend do enter into the spirit of the Regatta, wearing club blazers and other rowing apparel.

Opening times

The Enclosures open half an hour before racing commences each day. The hours during which racing takes place vary each day with the number of entries received. In recent years the general pattern illustrated below has proved fairly consistent:

The Prizegiving Ceremony takes place on Sunday at 5.00 pm.

The Racing Timetable for the first day of racing will be published on the evening of the Sunday prior,
and will then be updated each evening once the Regatta has started.

Food & Drink

Restaurant

Offers a three-course plated lunch including a seafood platter. There are two sittings at 12.00 noon and 2.00 pm, as well as afternoon tea available from 4.00 pm - 6.00 pm.

Deli

The Deli Bar is open all day serving hot and cold drinks, a selection of freshly made sandwiches and baguettes, salads and hot dishes.

Bar

The Regatta Enclosure Bar serves a range of non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks including Pimm's, champagne and real ale.
 
Drinks, food and picnics may not be brought into The Regatta Enclosure.
Travel & Parking at Henley Regatta

Travel & Parking

Henley Royal Regatta attracts thousands of visitors over the 5-day period. The roads approaching Henley will be busy and subject to a one-way system and restrictions during the Regatta. Main approach roads will be reinforced by temporary signage. Please plan your journey carefully and allow extra travelling time.

Regatta Shops

During the Regatta there are two 'pop-up' shops. The main shop is located within the Boat Tent area, and is open from Thursday 22nd June until Sunday 2nd July. A small kiosk is located within the Regatta Enclosure, and is open for the duration of the Regatta. 

During the remainder of the year, the Regatta Headquarters shop is open weekdays from 9.00 am - 1.00 pm and 2.00 pm - 5.00 pm. Alternatively, you may prefer to shop online.
