Press COVID-19 Entry Requirements
What are the requirements for press attending the Regatta
1- All accredited press will be required to show proof of COVID status upon entry to the Regatta demonstrated via your NHS COVID Pass on the NHS App or printed out in the form of:
- Double Vaccination
Full (two dose) COVID-19 vaccinations administered at least 14 days before attendance, demonstrated via the NHS App or the NHS.UK website or by letter which can be ordered by calling 119 (N.B. these can take seven working days to arrive).
- Negative Lateral Flow Test
A negative lateral flow test result (for those aged 11 or over) within 48 hours of attendance via the NHS App or the NHS.UK. website. Press from Northern Ireland or from outside the UK will not be able to provide proof of vaccination and must show a negative lateral flow test result instead.
Proof of a negative lateral flow test can be reported and demonstrated via a text message or email from the NHS self-report tool. This can be on your mobile device (including a screenshot) or a printout.
- Natural Immunity Certification
If you are resident in England, proof of natural immunity (positive PCR test within the last six months, after self-isolation has ended and up to 180 days after taking the test), demonstrated via your NHS COVID Pass on the NHS App.
2- Have access to your accreditation and NHS COVID pass either printed out or on a smartphone
3- Familiarise yourself with out Code of Conduct that you will have agreed when confirming your accreditation.
What do I need to get my NHS COVID pass?

I live in the UK, how do I provide proof of a negative lateral flow test result?
If you live in the United Kingdom, you can order your lateral flow tests for free here. Please follow the instructions used in your lateral flow kit to record the results with the NHS.
Proof of a negative lateral flow test can be reported and demonstrated via a text message or email from the NHS self-report tool.
Negative lateral flow test results can be shown via the NHS COVID Pass (only for individuals registered with a GP in England), or by showing a confirmation email or text message from NHS Test and Trace.
What if I don’t live in the UK, Scotland or Wales?
Members of the press from Northern Ireland or from outside the UK will not be able to provide proof of vaccination and must show a negative lateral flow test result instead.
What happens if I am travelling from abroad?
International press will be required to follow existing international travel guidance, and must abide by any quarantine requirements.
International press will not be able to show proof of vaccination and therefore are required to produce a negative Lateral Flow Test via the NHS in order to enter the Enclosure.
Lateral Flow Tests can be ordered to the address where you are staying via this link, or they can be picked from a local chemist (find your nearest pick up point here). Test results can then be uploaded to the NHS Self Report Tool, which will provide you with a confirmation email and text message which can be shown at the entry gates.
What if I don’t have a smartphone to display my Covid certification?
You can have your vaccination status, or your negative Lateral Flow Test result emailed to your email address and print out a PDF and bring the printed copy with you.
If you don’t have internet access you can obtain a post-vaccination letter by calling 119. It can take up to seven working days for the letter to arrive.
