What do I need to do before I can attend the Regatta?
All attendees will be required to take three steps before attending the Regatta:
1- Please bring your proof of COVID status in the form of:
- Double Vaccination
Full (two dose) COVID-19 vaccinations administered at least 14 days before attendance, demonstrated via the NHS App or the NHS.UK website or by letter which can be ordered by calling 119 (NB these can take 5 working days to arrive)
- Negative Lateral Flow Test
a negative lateral flow test result (for those aged 11 or over) within 48 hours of attendance via the NHS App or the NHS.UK. website. Ticket holders from Northern Ireland or from outside the UK will not be able to provide proof of vaccination and must show a negative lateral flow test result instead.
- Natural Immunity Certification
If you are resident in England, proof of natural immunity (positive PCR test within the last six months, after self-isolation has ended and up to 180 days after taking the test), demonstrated via your NHS COVID Pass on the NHS App.
2- Have access to your own tickets either printed out or on a smartphone
3- Familiarise yourself, and your guests with our Code of Conduct that you will have agreed to when you completed your ticket purchase
What do I need to get my COVID pass?

I live in the UK, how do I provide proof of a negative lateral flow test result?
If you live in the United Kingdom, you can order your lateral flow tests for free here. Please follow the instructions used in your lateral flow kit to record the results with the NHS.
Negative lateral flow test results can be shown via the NHS App Covid Pass (only for individuals registered with a GP in England), or by showing a confirmation email or text message from NHS Test and Trace.
What if I don’t live in the UK, Scotland or Wales?
Ticket holders from Northern Ireland or from outside the UK will not be able to provide proof of vaccination and must show a negative lateral flow test result instead.
What happens if I am travelling from abroad?
International ticket holders will be required to follow existing international travel guidance, and must abide by any quarantine requirements.
International ticket holders will not be able to show proof of vaccination and therefore are required to produce a negative Lateral Flow Test via the NHS in order to enter the Enclosure.
Lateral Flow Tests can be ordered to the address where you are staying via this link, or they can be picked from a local chemist (find your nearest pick up point here). Test results can then be uploaded to the NHS Self Report Tool, which will provide you with a confirmation email and text message which can be shown at the entry gates.
What if I don’t have a smartphone to display my Covid certification?
You can have your vaccination status, or your negative Lateral Flow Test result emailed to your email address and print out a PDF and bring the printed copy with you.
If you don’t have internet access you can obtain a post-vaccination letter by calling 119. It can take up to seven working days for the letter to arrive.
What if I am bringing my child to the Regatta?
NHS COVID Pass is not available for children under 18, therefore they will need to show proof of a negative lateral flow test.
What time can I arrive?
The Enclosures open 30 minutes prior to the start of racing. Please see the Daily Timetable for more information.
Are children allowed into the Stewards’ Enclosure?
Children from the age of ten are allowed in the Stewards’ Enclosure. They must adhere to the Dress Code.
Can I bring a large bag with me?
The Left Luggage facility will not operate in 2021 – please do not attempt to bring large bags into the Stewards’ Enclosure.
Can I use my mobile phone in the Stewards’ Enclosure?
The use of mobile phones for making and receiving calls is not permitted in the Stewards’ Enclosure. Mobiles can be used in the Enclosure to take photos, for sending and receiving text messages and emails.
Talking on your phone is only permitted outside of the Enclosure.
I have a food allergy – who do I tell?

Due to the temporary nature of our site facilities, our kitchen will contain ingredients with allergens and we cannot guarantee 100% that a dish is allergen free. If your condition could be life threatening please consider whether it is safe for you to dine with us.
Can I bring a picnic into the Stewards’ Enclosure?
No food or drink may be brought into the Enclosure. In hot weather, Members and Guests may bring small bottles of water into the Enclosure.
I bought a Lunch/Tea Ticket but I can no longer attend, can I have a refund?
Stewards’ Enclosure Lunch and Tea Tickets will be refunded if they are returned at least 24 hours prior to the meal concerned. A handling charge of 10% will be levied.
Can I bring my dog?
Assistance dogs only are allowed in the Enclosure.
How do I redeem my Badge allocation?
Please log in to your Member Account.
How do I buy tickets?

I am struggling to place an order online, what should I do?
Please contact a member of the Badge Office Team on 01491 571900 from 09:30 -13:00 and 14:00 to 16:30, Monday to Friday.

Most tickets are available online. If you do not have an email account, you will need to contact the Badge Office to purchase tickets.
I cannot get through to the telephone orderline, what should I do?
Our lines are often busy, especially at peak times – please try again at another time or look to purchase your tickets online by logging in to your Member Account.
Can I buy tickets at Regatta HQ?
The counter service will not be open at HQ. The Badge Office will be open for sales at the Regatta site during the event.
How do I receive my tickets?
Your tickets will be sent to your email address as PDF documents.
How do I purchase and receive a ticket if I don’t have an email address?
To place an order, please call the Ticket orderline on 01491 571900 on 01491 571900 from 09:30 -13:00 and 14:00 to 16:30, Monday to Friday.
Any tickets that cannot be received by email will be sent via Royal Mail and subject to their delivery timescales.
We aim to deliver within 5 working days within the UK. Please contact the ticket office if they have not arrived within this period
What do I do if my tickets do not arrive?
Contact the Badge Office after 5 working days.
How much is a ticket?
Please log in to your Member Account for ticket sales and information.
How can I get a Guest Voucher?
We will not be operating the Guest Voucher system this year.
Will tickets be posted to my home?
This year we are doing things differently. If you have redeemed your ticket allocation and any ticket sales through your Member Account then you will receive your tickets electronically by email.
I can no longer attend the Regatta, can I have a refund?
We are unable to give refunds for tickets if you are no longer able to attend.
Can I exchange my badges for another day?
We are unable to exchange badges, please refer to our terms and conditions
Can I buy tickets on the day?
Yes, but all tickets are subject to availability and we advise early booking to avoid disappointment
Do I pay by card or cash.
We accept Visa and MasterCard. We would prefer card payments where possible.
Can I leave tickets for my friends to collect?
There will be no collection point this year at the Badge Office.
Do trousers need to be a required length to be allowed into the Stewards’ Enclosure?
Whilst the Dress Code does not specify a required length, trousers are expected to be in keeping with the overarching formal requirements of the Dress Code. No one will be admitted to the Stewards’ Enclosure wearing shorts and therefore trousers must clearly fall below the knee and be full or near to full length.
Can I wear a jumpsuit?
Yes, jumpsuits are welcome in the Stewards’ Enclosure provided they are in accordance with the Dress Code for those wearing trousers. For example, jumpsuits should fall below the knee and be full or near to full length as shorts are not permitted in the Stewards’ Enclosure. Also, as a reminder, jeans, leggings and tracksuits are not permitted in the Stewards’ Enclosure.
My rowing club hands down blazers from previous generations and accordingly they look rather tatty. Will I be allowed to wear it in the Stewards’ Enclosure?
Rowing club blazers form an important part of the Regatta adding to the visual spectacle of the event. We recognise and respect the traditions associated with club blazers and as such would not refuse entry on the basis of a well worn club blazer.
Can I wear culottes or divided skirts?
Yes you can, provided they are in accordance with the Dress Code for those wearing trousers. As shorts are not permitted, they must clearly fall below the knee and be full or near to full length.
Do I need to wear a hat in the Stewards’ Enclosure?
Whilst not a requirement, hats, fascinators, Panama hats, boaters and rowing club caps are all very welcome in the Stewards’ Enclosure.
I identify as non-binary. What should I wear?
You should wear any outfit that you feel comfortable in that adheres to the Dress Code. These FAQs, alongside our Style Guide, provide further guidance on interpreting the Dress Code.
If you have a condition that means you are unable to comply with the Dress Code or would like further advice please get in touch at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will be able to advise accordingly.
This area has been re-allocated to the Stewards’ Enclosure to provide some extra space and an additional area for refreshments. However, we will shortly announce details of a new enclosure, The Supporters’ Lawn, on the traditional footprint of the Boat Tent, next to Leander Club. Our intention is that this area will provide the friends and families of our 2021 Competitors a base from where they can cheer on their crews. Currently these tickets have been offered to those Clubs that have entered but tickets will go on general sale in a few days’ time.
We will shortly announce details of a new enclosure, The Supporters’ Lawn, on the traditional footprint of the Boat Tent, next to Leander Club. Our intention is that this area will provide the friends and families of our 2021 Competitors a base from where they can cheer on their crews. Currently these tickets have been offered to those Clubs that have entered but tickets will go on general sale in a few days’ time.
Members of the Stewards’ Enclosure will be able to purchase extra tickets for Guests from Monday 2 August.
Tickets for the new enclosure, The Supporters’ Lawn will go on general sale in a few days time. Further details will follow, so please check back regularly.
Can I get public transport to and from the event?

How far is the Stewards’ Enclosure from the Henley Railway Station?
Approximately a 5 minute walk.
Can I park at the event?
Daily parking is available.
What time do the car parks open and close?
The car parks open at 07:30 and close at 21:00.
Can I leave my car overnight?
With a daily car park label you must leave the car park by 21:00 at the latest.
What do I need to do before I can attend the Regatta?

Is there a Dress Code?
Dress to suit the occasion. No denim, shorts, sports attire or trainers. Please view the full Dress Code.
How does the river boat cruise work?
There are selected cruises throughout the day. Hostesses will arrange a time with you on arrival. You cannot pre-book as this is run on a first-come first-served basis.
How can I increase the size of my booking?
This can be accommodated up to 24 hours before their day. We require booking reference, details of increase and contact to take payment. The last post is 1 week to the event. Ticket increases after that date can be picked up on the day. Tickets will be ready at our collection point: Fawley Meadows Main Reception, Marlow Road, Henley-on-Thames. How can I reduce the size of my booking?
Please inform us as soon as possible to ensure the table is laid accordingly when you arrive. We will require a reference number and new final covers. There are no refunds on decreases in numbers.
I / my client have lost my / their ticket.
If you or your clients have lost their swing badges, these can be cancelled and re-issued at no extra cost. Please inform the team urgently on 01344 878494.
I’m lost or on the wrong side of the river.

Can I get Stewards’ Enclosure badges?
Unfortunately this will not be possible for 2021.
Is there a cloakroom?
No, there are no cloakroom facilities.
What if I am going to be late?
Please inform us by calling the team on 01344 878494. This will not be a problem and we look forward to welcoming you when you arrive.
Who do I tell about any allergies or dietary requirements?
We can cater for all requirements. Please inform us as soon as possible. We require a reference number and dietary request emailed to email@example.com
Is there disabled access?
Fawley Meadows has full disabled/wheelchair access, however, please be advised that the Fawley Meadows Enclosure is a temporary structure located in the middle of a meadow and therefore expect rough and uneven terrain.
We just want somewhere to eat lunch?
Fawley Meadows is full hospitality and picnics only.
I have not received my tickets.
Tickets are sent out a couple of weeks before the event. Should you have not received your tickets within this window, please contact the sales office on 01344 878494.
Parking is included in the package at a ratio of 1 per couple. The car park is located immediately adjacent to the facility and you will be directed by stewards upon arrival.
Travel & Parking – How do I get to the official car parks?
By Road – The entrance down to Fawley Meadows can be found on the Marlow Road, Henley-on-Thames, RG9 2HY. We recommend you travel in from Marlow and avoid the centre of Henley-on-Thames for faster travel. For SAT NAV please use RG9 2HY.
By Train – Fawley Meadows is a 15-20 minute walk from the station. Please follow road signs. For Google Maps please use RG9 2HY.
Best drop off location – Fawley Meadows Car Park has a drop off point and turning circle, follow directions to the postcode RG9 2HY.
