Henley Royal Regatta is undoubtedly the best known regatta in the world and it holds a unique place in the respect and affection of all oarsmen – both active and retired. Founded in 1839, it is famous both as a great sporting occasion and as a social event. People come from all over the world to attend, either as competitors or as spectators.
Henley Royal Regatta 2014 is being held from Wednesday 2nd July to Sunday 6th July.
The Draw for all Events takes place at 3.00 p.m. on Saturday 28th June in Henley Town Hall and will be posted on the Regatta website that same evening.
The racing timetable for each day will be posted shortly after racing.
The hours during which racing takes place each day vary with the number of entries received but in recent years the following general pattern has proved fairly consistent:

On Sunday the Enclosures open at 11.00 a.m. and the Prizegiving Ceremony will begin at 4.30 p.m.
Regatta Enclosure Sunday badge holders can watch the Ceremony from within the Stewards' Enclosure from 4.15 p.m.
