General Information

Henley Royal Regatta is undoubtedly the best known regatta in the world and it holds a unique place in the respect and affection of all oarsmen – both active and retired. Founded in 1839, it is famous both as a great sporting occasion and as a social event. People come from all over the world to attend, either as competitors or as spectators.

Henley Royal Regatta 2012 is being held from Wednesday 27th June to Sunday 1st July.

The Draw for all Events takes place at 3.00 p.m. on Saturday 23rd June in Henley Town Hall and will be posted on the Regatta website that same evening.

The racing timetable for the first day, Wednesday 27th June, will be posted on the Regatta website on the afternoon of Sunday 24th June.

The hours during which racing takes place each day vary with the number of entries received but in recent years the following general pattern has proved fairly consistent:
