Car Parks & Routes

The recommended routes for the car park label you have purchased are shown in this pdf file, which can be printed.

1. General Information

  1. The routes are reinforced by temporary signage on the approach roads to the Regatta.

  2. The one-way system in Remenham changes at approximately 4 p.m. daily. Make sure you follow the road signs on arrival and departure.

  3. Obey the mandatory road traffic signs that enforce the temporary traffic orders – failure to do so will render you liable to fixed penalties that include the endorsement of your driving licence.

2. Before 4 p.m.

  1. If you have a rectangular label and arrive on the A4130 (from London or Wargrave) the official route is via Remenham Lane. If you try to turn right into Leander Way you may be prevented from doing so by the volume of approaching traffic. This will result in your being directed over Henley Bridge and around the one-way system in Henley.

  2. If you have a circular label you are forbidden to try to gain admission to the Car Parks via Leander Way – you must go around the one-way system via Remenham Church Lane.

  3. If you have a triangular label you are strongly advised to avoid Henley Bridge and your best approach from the M4 or M40 is via Marlow and the A4155.

3. After 4 p.m.

On departure after 4.00 p.m. rectangular and circular label holders will be obliged to follow the one-way system through Remenham. Exit via Leander Way is prohibited. You are also forbidden to turn right at the Remenham Lane junction with the A4130. If you wish to return to Henley Bridge the recommended route is via Cockpole Green and the Wargrave Road (A321) - follow the signs. If you need to reach more distant areas in Oxfordshire you are better advised to follow the A4130 to the Marlow Bypass (A404) and use alternative routes to your destination.
