John Howell, Barbara Richardson and Lynda Till are pictured here on the front lawn. Along with other local business people and celebrities they helped to raise over £6,000 for the charity having been marooned on the Island with just their mobile phones.

They were only allowed off the Island once they had raised at least £1,000 each in telephone pledges.

With the help of two of our approved suppliers Elegant Cuisine and Meridian Marquees we held our first Open Day. Potential clients were able to experience the ambience expected at a Temple Island function and enjoyed sumptuous canapes. Guests were able to see a fully decorated marquee. Hobbs of Henley provided boats, Sonning Flowers the beautiful arrangements and Stefan Zabel the photography.
