The Stewards' Challenge Cup 2010 - Princeton Training Center, U.S.A.
Official Entry Forms for American crews wishing to compete at this year’s Henley Royal Regatta may be obtained from Mrs Gill Perry who is based in Connecticut and who serves as the Regatta’s co-ordinator of all American entries. Clubs which regularly compete at Henley or those clubs which contacted the Regatta office earlier in the year will have been sent Entry Forms on 1st April.
Gill Perry can be contacted by email - natrowing@comcast.net – or by phone – 860 535 0634.
Her home address is 'The Finish Line, 67 Mystic Road, North Stonington, CT 06359'. It is now possible, under the Rules, to submit a completed Entry Form to Gill Perry in PDF format.
Gill Perry is the authorised representative of USRowing for all Henley entries and is the person who will counter-sign the Entry Form on the bottom of the front page. Gill will then pass on the completed Entry Form to the Regatta Office in Henley.
The two American Stewards who will check the performance records, background and appropriateness of all the American entries are:
Joe Michels - joe.g.michels@oneequity.com and
Jamie Koven - james.koven@oneequity.com
Coaches are reminded that the club, student and junior events are always over-subscribed and that Qualifying Races (timed Head Races) will be held on Friday 22nd June. Many overseas crews will be required to compete in the Qualifying Races but if a crew has a sufficiently good racing record in 2012 then it may be given exemption from these races.
Any coach who is uncertain about the Rules or about which event to enter should contact either Joe Michels or Jamie Koven.
The Close of Entries will occur at 18.00 British Summer Time on Monday 11th June. Please ensure your completed Entry Form is sent to Gill Perry well in advance of this date to allow sufficient time for the form to reach Henley.
